I have played games in this series, but was continually astonished by how good this game is compared to previous ones.

The devs have really stepped it up and offered an outstanding game that is fun to play and a visual feast for the eyes. The story is easy to follow and a variation of the Snow White and Sleeping Beauty leitmotif. The artwork is fantastic--high def, movie style cut scenes, good special effects, wonderful to look at.

The protagonists are movie star-gorgeous, and even bit players are good to look at. Puzzles are easy, even on Hardcore mode. Only 2 puzzles made me change to Advanced mode so I could skip. The HOPs are varied and not boring and not plentiful, but just enough to keep junk pile addicts satisfied.

You can always play match 3 as an option. The only little flaw in the game is the voiceover for the Queen doesn't match the drawn character and I found the voice annoying, like scratching on a chalkboard. Other than that, the VOs were good and appropriate to the visual appearance of the person. As usual, the game is played from 2 perspectives, one male and one female. There is a locket at bottom left and it glows when you need to change perspective.
