His six-year-old daughter, Anna, is missing, together with her young friend, Joy, and as minutes turn to hours, panic sets in. The only lead is a dilapidated RV that had earlier been parked on their street.
Heading the investigation, Detective Loki arrests its driver, Alex Jones, but a lack of evidence forces his release. As the police pursue multiple leads and pressure mounts, knowing his child's life is at stake the frantic Dover decides he has no choice but to take matters into his own hands.

They are very good, its worth re watching the series first. Hence, the only listeners who can fully understand, appreciate and enjoy this programme are oldsters like me who grew up watching the original Prisoner and the endless re-runs.
There were only SIX original shows! This is because the writers of this radio-play version of the television programme neglected to write establishing description of the odd "Village", the curious look and feel of the sets, and the environs of the original television programme.
Yet, a young, new audience of "The Village", necessarily, can NOT possibly be seeing what is required to sufficiently understand this programme. Alas, the new radio play writers have spent NO TIME describing the Village icons, the 's bicycles the queer, but original and striking look of the sets and costuming, etc..
The essential establishment of the old,large, black Bentley and odd men dressed in 's morning dress with top hats like a bad acid trip at Eton. Perhaps, I am ironing shirts. I have seen the TV version of this show so many times, I have no problem listening to this radio play and enjoying it as if I am watching the original TV programme sans seeing the screen.
It's OK for me, as I know the original set like my own bedroom. However, I pray that young, new audiences for this programme do not feel lost
