Linking to zip file not downloading

Search the community and support articles Windows Windows 7 Search Community member. Seems like there were a few other posts about this but I couldn't seem to find a solution. From reading the other posts it sounds like the issue is A defaults to open up with viewer and there is nothing to view with a ZIP file.
The screen sits there blank with three gray dots in the middle of the screen. Not sure how to navigate around this but I've sent zip files before but haven't had this issue. Go to Solution.
Solved by scott. If you are talking about A Drive - that is correct,. However, if this is Drive - it should be defaulting you to the file list - not the viewer. Also, ZIPs can be uploaded, but cannot be downloaded from the web, and with the old A Desktop App having been retired, they cannot be pulled.
